Driving is a highly complex social activity that has a language all of its own, for that reason this module looks at the importance of good clear communication and how that impacts on the etiquette of driving.
The module also explores our emotions and how they contribute to our overall driving behaviour. We draw on and discuss case studies where road rage has had a significantly negative outcome for those involved, the ripple affect we call it.
We also take a look beyond our own often egocentric views to consider the rights and needs of other road users.
